Made from an off-white silk with an embroidery of ecru silk thread brocade, this 1950's wiggle vintage wedding dress (think Mad Men) is simply charming. The bodice features a square neckline with tiny rhinestone embellishments that carry through to the back of the neck. The simple capped sleeves offer just the right amount of coverage. We have paired the dress with a simple silk ribbon sash (not included) just to show the versatility of this amazing piece, but without the sash the dress is a sheath. The dress is partially lined in cotton and fastens on the side with a concealed metal zipper. The bottom back of the dress features a small pleat for ease of movement and there is also a 2" hemline for alterations. There is a tiny tear at the top fold of the hemline in the front of the dress and one at the left seam of arm-hole under the arm and another at the right bottom edge of the sleeve, all three of which can be easily repaired. There is some slight discoloration, which can be restored by a professional dry cleaner .
