The Bride wore an authentic blush toned tea length vintage wedding dress exclusively from the collection at Mill Crest Vintage. She paired it with a full petticoat and simple tiara with removable net veil. Gorgeous!!!!
Five bridesmaids were adorned in vintage inspired dresses in a pallet of pastels, which perfectly complemented the summer colors of their flower bouquets and the blush tones of the bridal dress.
The bride shared with Mill Crest Vintage - "Having harbored a longtime love of all things vintage, we enjoyed mixing mid-century elegance with modern minimalism to create our own wedding aesthetic. It was very important to the both of us that we share our marriage celebration with our beloved family and friends around the home that we love so much: Brooklyn! The Prospect Park Picnic House served as a perfect location, as it had been the meeting place for many past barbecues and birthday parties over the years; the park was a natural choice as many of our friends live near and around it (it’s also a quick walk from our apartment, and served as a perfect backdrop for private and social pre-wedding photos). It was also important for us to work with local Brooklyn vendors, from finding the perfect wedding rings and the immense wedding cake spread from One Girl Cookies to the exclusive Brooklyn Brewery beer selection at the reception. We also chose to handcraft as much of the wedding elements as possible, incorporating our beloved family and friends where we could. - We both felt incredibly lucky to have had such a wealth of support from loved ones who came together from all over the world to celebrate and share in our wedding celebration!" It was a true family affair. Music for the ceremony was bagpiped by the bride’s brother-in-law and the groom’s cousin officiated the ceremony. DIY vintage touches were in full swing - as much of the programs, stationary and wedding favors were designed and hand-made by the bride, friends and family. The couple's decision to include a photo booth at the reception (a genius offer, compliments of the photographers) resulted in hundreds of priceless moments that were turned into cherished memories. LOVE!
