Designed in the 30's, this unique vintage wedding gown is done in a champagne toned liquid silk satin with a lace insertion in the bodice and drop pearl trimmed silk satin rosettes adorned cascading sleeve caps. The bodice offers a silk satin banded jewel cut collar, which meets the sheer floral lace insertion and encloses in the back with 4 self covered buttons and loops. The bust line is done in the silk satin and offers a deep Sabrina style bust and straight back, which dramatic keyhole opening. The bodice meets the skirt with an asymmetrical front stitch and inverted Basque stitch in the back. One of the self covered buttons needs to be replaced and the loops need some attention. Some of the rosettes at the sleeve caps need some reinforcement and some of the drop pearls may be missing. There is a water stain and a few smudges in the silk and a slight bit of discoloration in the armhole, which may be remedied by a professional dry cleaning. Due to age, there are a few scratches in the silk.
