Designed in the 40's, this formal vintage wedding gown is made of a beautiful silk satin taffeta done in a muted champagne tone. The bodice features a semi-scooped neckline that has been embellished with a floral appliquéd and tiny bead work. The 3/4 length point sleeves are adorned with 6 self fabric covered buttons and loops. The gathered asymmetrically cut skirt falls from the Basque style waist and features the same beautiful floral embroidery and tiny beading as seen on the neckline. 3 self fabric rosettes adorn the front of the skirt and 2 more can be found in the back. A large self fabric bow adorns the back of the waist just below the concealed metal zipper. This gown has a self train and is not lined. A tiny bit of staining can be seen on the appliqué on the skirt and neckline. However, these can easily be remedied by a professional dry cleaner.
