Designed in the 40's, this very unique vintage wedding gown is done in a soft white eyelet organdy. The sleeveless bodice features a sheer chiffon modesty panel with a jeweled neckline, over a ruffled chiffon scooped neckline and scooped back. The remainder of the bodice is done in eyelet organdy from which a chiffon ruffle trimmed peplum falls. From under the peplum, falls the long, sheer chiffon gathered skirt, which features a self train. We recommend wearing a slip of your choosing under this gown. A concealed metal zipper encloses this gown on the side. There are 8 self covered buttons in the back of the modesty panel, which need to be replaced due to a bit of rusting. There a few loose threads that need a snip and a few tiny pinholes. We recommend a professional dry cleaning.
