Designed in the 40's, this elegant vintage wedding ensemble is very reminiscent of something that Jean Harlow might have worn. Done in a light weight satin rayon, the ensemble includes a long, form fitting bias cut sleeveless gown with a scooped neckline and side snap enclosures. The matching bolero is done with a high tied neckline. The entire piece features double layered ruffles along the edges, which is also repeated at the cuffs of the dolman style sleeves. There is a small hole at the hemline of the gown, which can easily be repaired. There is a bit of discoloration, probably from water stains, which can be remedied with a professional cleaning.
