Designed in the 50's, this lovely vintage wedding gown is done in a soft sheer white lace over an acetate lining. The bodice features a v-cut neckline, a wing collar and capped sleeves. 12 pearl buttons cascade down the front of the bodice and tiny peals are scattered throughout the shoulder. The sleeveless acetate lining can be seen through the sheer lace of the bodice and offers a scooped neck and scooped back. The full, asymmetrical 4 tiered skirt falls from the semi-Basque waist and finishes with a self train. A concealed metal zipper encloses this gown in the back. The gown does run a bit small, as seen, but can be altered to achieve a customized fit. 3" of the second tier needs to be reinforced, where it has come loose from the lining. There are a few inclusions in the acetate lining, but this cannot be detected when worn and can be replaced if so desired. Some of the lace near the edges of the tiers need a bit of reinforcement.
