Designed in the 60's this unique peasant style vintage wedding gown is done in gorgeous tones of ecru lace over an ecru faille lining and an additional layer of tulle in the skirt. The bodice features a shawl style collar with a satin ribbon trimmed scalloped lace insertion around the square neckline and square back. The entire shawl style collar which can be worn on or off the shoulder is finished with beautiful scalloped lace which continues as a cascade down the front of the bodice to the hemline of the skirt where two additional tiers of ribbon trimmed scalloped lace ruffles are seen. The remainder of the bodice is done in a 3/4 sheer lace panel trimmed in ribbon insertion and meets in the front at either side of the ruffle. The full skirt falls from the high natural waist carrying through the same design of the bodice. The back of the skirt features a self train that begins at the back of the bodice with two large pleat details and finishes at the hemline of the train with two additional tiers of ribbon trimmed scalloped ruffled lace. This gown encloses in the back with a concealed metal zipper. The hook n'eye needs to be replaced and we strongly recommend a professional dry cleaning. There is a 1.5" inclusion in the faille lining which is easily remedied. There may be a few breaks in the lace that cannot be seen when worn.
