Designed in the 60's, this eggshell toned vintage wedding gown is done in a beautiful lace appliqued silk taffeta over a paper lining, added for stiffness, with an additional 11" long nylon peplum that sits at the waist for added fullness. The bodice offers a lace appliqued scalloped scooped neckline and back, with simple capped sleeves. The skirt falls from the Basque style waist and offers beautiful floral lace appliques throughout and finishes at the floor with a self train, which can be bustled. This gown encloses in the back with 28 self covered buttons. A few of the buttons need a bit of reinforcement. There are a few scratches in the taffeta, which does not affect the integrity of the gown. A few smudges in the paper lining are not noticeable when worn and a few of the seams need a bit of reinforcement. We recommend a professional dry cleaning to remedy any smudging or discoloration.
